cranford burke, LCMHCA (they/them): Adults & couples Therapist
Hi, I’m Cranford Burke (they/them), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), and I enjoy working with adults—individuals and couples—of all sexual orientations, gender identities, neuro-identities, and cultural backgrounds. I believe healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and within our communities. I am passionate about supporting clients to strengthen these connections, through building emotional resilience and self-acceptance, and cultivating meaningful relationships that align with the life they want to live.
I have experience supporting clients navigating trauma, relational challenges, gender/sexuality exploration, emotional dysregulation, intrusive or self-critical thoughts, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. Working together, you’ll find my approach warm, curious, and supportive. Together, we’ll explore your patterns and what helps you feel safe to move toward feeling more connected and empowered. Depending on your goals, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I recently completed level 1 Brainspotting training. I am sex, kink, and body affirming. If this approach resonates with you, please reach out to schedule a consultation to see if we are a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
I work with couples and adults ages 18+. I am in network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, and Medcost.
