cranford burke, LCMHCA (they/them): Adults & couples Therapist
Hi, I’m Cranford Burke (they/them), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), and I enjoy working with adults—individuals and couples—of all sexual orientations, gender identities, neuro-identities, and cultural backgrounds. I believe healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and within our communities. I am passionate about supporting clients to strengthen these connections, through building emotional resilience and self-acceptance, and cultivating meaningful relationships that align with the life they want to live.
I have experience supporting clients navigating trauma, relational challenges, gender/sexuality exploration, emotional dysregulation, intrusive or self-critical thoughts, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. Working together, you’ll find my approach warm, curious, and supportive. Together, we’ll explore your patterns and what helps you feel safe to move toward feeling more connected and empowered. Depending on your goals, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I recently completed level 1 Brainspotting training. I am sex, kink, and body affirming. If this approach resonates with you, please reach out to schedule a consultation to see if we are a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
I work with couples and adults ages 18+. I am in network with Aetna, and Cigna and will be in network with BCBS and Medcost in the near future.

Tequira Monk: LCSWA (She/her): Children, Families and young Adults Therapist
I’m Tequira Monk (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), and I specialize in working with children, youth, and families as they navigate life’s ups and downs with care, creativity, and connection.
I create a warm, playful, and supportive space where kids feel safe to be themselves and families feel truly heard. Whether a child is struggling with big feelings, attention challenges, anxiety, trauma, or self-esteem, I work to meet them right where they are—with curiosity, compassion, and a touch of imagination.
I’m especially passionate about supporting children and young adults with ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and those navigating identity, life transitions, or challenges at home or school. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ youth and families, helping them feel seen, celebrated, and supported. My approach is relaxed, down-to-earth, and deeply collaborative. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I work closely with caregivers to build understanding, strengthen connection, and foster growth both in and out of sessions.
In my work, I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and mindfulness. With younger clients, I integrate play therapy, creative arts, and storytelling—because sometimes our hands and imaginations can express what words cannot.
I’ve worked across various settings and systems, which helps me understand the unique stressors kids and families face today—and the resilience they carry with them. I always bring a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens to the work we do together.
If your child is struggling, or you or your family is going through a tough time, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. I work with children ages 5+, teens, young adults, and families.
I am in network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, and Medcost.

Beth Sprowls, LCSWA (she/her): couples, adolescents & Adults Therapist
“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they are never weakness." Brene Brown
Hi, my name is Beth Sprowls (she/her). I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), therapist, straight-shooter, and big believer that healing doesn’t have to be boring. If you’ve been through hell — childhood trauma, sexual assault, the never-ending loop of “I’m not good enough,” or struggling to say “no” without guilt — you're in the right place.
I help people untangle the messy stuff that happened way back (and the stuff that still hurts now). My clients tend to carry a lot: deep shame, invisible wounds, and a voice in their head that’s frankly kind of a jerk. Together, we work on quieting that voice, rebuilding self-worth from the inside out, and learning to set boundaries that stick — without needing to apologize for existing.
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and grounded in practical strategies to support emotional safety and connection. I draw from research-backed methods, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Trauma Focused-CBT (TF-CBT), and Gottman Method, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals and couples identify unhelpful patterns, understand the roots of their reactions, and build new ways of relating with honesty and compassion.
I provide telehealth and in person sessions in our Raleigh and Durham offices and work with clients aged 13+. I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, Medcost, and BCBS.

savannah corey, lcsw (She/her): adolescents, & Adults therapist
My name is Savannah Corey (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I utilize a person-centered approach to meet clients where they are, and believe we are the expert in our own lives. Therapy should be a place where you feel really safe to talk about anything including things that you haven't been able to talk about before. I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is a partnership where all people involved strive to reach the same goals. Sometimes life presents stressful challenges due to recent events, or problems that have gone on a long time. As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I help clients connect thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to "stuck points" in thoughts processes so that negative thoughts can be reframed.
I practice an eclectic approach and utilize multiple modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method. I specialize in helping people from adolescent to adulthood, and couples that struggle with issues such as depression, anxiety, life changes, trauma, women's issues, gender/sexual identity and neurodivergence. I am poly informed and enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ population.
I work with couples and individuals ages 13-45 in person and via telehealth in our Durham office. I am currently in network with Aetna, BCBS, United, Medcost, and Cigna healthcare plans.
