Tequira Monk, LCSWA: (She/her) Children, Families and Adults Therapist
I’m Tequira Monk (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), and I specialize in working with children, youth, and families as they navigate life’s ups and downs with care, creativity, and connection.
I create a warm, playful, and supportive space where kids feel safe to be themselves and families feel truly heard. Whether a child is struggling with big feelings, attention challenges, anxiety, trauma, or self-esteem, I work to meet them right where they are—with curiosity, compassion, and a touch of imagination.
I’m especially passionate about supporting children and young adults with ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and those navigating identity, life transitions, or challenges at home or school. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ youth and families, helping them feel seen, celebrated, and supported. My approach is relaxed, down-to-earth, and deeply collaborative. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I work closely with caregivers to build understanding, strengthen connection, and foster growth both in and out of sessions.
In my work, I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and mindfulness. With younger clients, I integrate play therapy, creative arts, and storytelling—because sometimes our hands and imaginations can express what words cannot.
I’ve worked across various settings and systems, which helps me understand the unique stressors kids and families face today—and the resilience they carry with them. I always bring a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens to the work we do together.
If your child is struggling, or you or your family is going through a tough time, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. I work with children ages 5+, teens, young adults, and families.
I am in network with BCBS, Cigna and Aetna, and will soon be in network with Medcost.

savannah corey, lcsw (She/her): adolescents, & Adults therapist
Hi, my name is Beth Sprowls (she/her). As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), I help couples and individuals move through life transitions, communication struggles, and the deep, often invisible impact of trauma, anxiety, and people-pleasing patterns on their relationships. Many of my clients find themselves stuck in cycles—avoiding conflict, suppressing needs, or feeling overwhelmed by guilt and fear—especially during major changes like becoming parents, shifting careers, or navigating grief and loss.
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and grounded in practical strategies to support emotional safety and connection. I draw from research-backed methods, including the Gottman Method, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Trauma Focused-CBT (TF-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals and couples identify unhelpful patterns, understand the roots of their reactions, and build new ways of relating with honesty and compassion.
Together, we work to interrupt painful dynamics, rebuild trust, and foster healthier, more secure connections—so both partners feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow both individually and as a couple.
I provide telehealth and in person sessions in our Raleigh and Durham offices and work with clients aged 16+. I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, Medcost, and BCBS.

Waitlisting Clients
*I accept Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Medcost & United Healthcare.
My name is Savannah Corey (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I utilize a person-centered approach to meet clients where they are, and believe we are the expert in our own lives. Therapy should be a place where you feel really safe to talk about anything including things that you haven't been able to talk about before. I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is a partnership where all people involved strive to reach the same goals. Sometimes life presents stressful challenges due to recent events, or problems that have gone on a long time. As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I help clients connect thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to "stuck points" in thoughts processes so that negative thoughts can be reframed.
I practice an eclectic approach and utilize multiple modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method. I specialize in helping people from adolescent to adulthood, and couples that struggle with issues such as depression, anxiety, life changes, trauma, women's issues, gender/sexual identity and neurodivergence. I am poly informed and enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ population.
I work with couples and individuals ages 13-45 in person and via telehealth in our Durham office. I am currently in network with Aetna, BCBS, United, Medcost, and Cigna healthcare plans.
